ABOUT US
WHO ARE WE
Located along the confrontation line on the Lebanese border, just steps away from heavy fighting during the 2006 war against Hezbollah, the Galilee Panhandle region knows what it’s like to be under threat. At the same time, with a predominance of small communities and its location in the northernmost part of Israel, the Galilee Panhandle faces the great challenge of providing its 50,000 residents with social, educational and health services equal to those available in central Israel.
Our Mission
The Mission of our partnership is to build and strengthen relationships between the people and communities of Coast to Coast Canada and Etzbah HaGalil, to foster a love of Israel and a commitment to Jewish Peoplehood, and to promote the mutual well-being of our communities

מטרת השותפות היא לבנות ולחזק את הקשר בין אנשים וקהילות בחוף אל חוף- קנדה ובין אצבע הגליל דרך תוכניות בונות זהות יהודית ומקדמות את רווחתם ושלומם של המשתתפים.
חזון השותפות הוא להיות מנהיגים בתחומי בניית המסוגלות ובתחום הנוער והחינוך באצבע הגליל- תוך אספקת פרויקטים חדשניים ומשאבים בעלי יתרון על פני אחרים בעלי עניין בתחומים אלו. מימוש חזון זה מתבצע תוך ביצוע עבודה משותפת קנדית וישראלית. בנוסף , החזון כולל שאיפה כי "גשר חיי" ייצור אנשים חזקים בעלי קשרים חזקים.
